old school home theatre system

Michael (a.k.a. super great husband) set up a "home theatre" system for me tonight. We wanted to catch up on LOST episodes online and when we usually do that, we watch it on the computer in the office. Since we had gone to the Michael Allen Harrison concert on Friday night and Rob Bell on Sunday night my back was hurting from sitting in stiff chairs which is what we have in the office. So, I mentioned that I wished we could watch it in the living room and Michael got to working right away on fixing up a home theatre system. It worked!

Here is Michael setting everything up. Notice the 1980's boom box on the ground by his foot. Yes, we own that.

We bought a projector for work when we went to San Antonio last April for a training seminar for Michael's business and put it to good use tonight.

It took a little figuring out.

See it on the wall under the window? It was great and I got to sit in a comfy chair in the living room for the 3 hours of LOST we caught up on.

New Roots Retreat in Sun River

Settlers of Catan. I was rooting for Michael the whole time, but Jen won. Jen plays it well. If I ever need to build a road or a settlement, I want her as my broker. We love Settlers, we're going to have to get our own copy soon.

Sunriver was beautiful. Not to icy, but snow covered.
